CLR concrete truck mixers are products of top quality, which implement national and international production excellence. The Volvo FE320 and the Hino 700 series trucks are probably the toughest and most reliable vehicles currently on the market with the ideal ‘Stetter’ mixer unit fitted as standard.
We currently have four mixers in service, these are; two VOLVO FE320’s with a capacity of 6.0m3 and two of the Hino 700 series with a 8.0m3 capacity.
Volvo FE320 is a 6 wheeler with four chute sections instead of three which gives an extra two foot reach, with 300litre water tanks and cable controls ensuring complete variable control.
The vehicle is enhanced by rear colour cameras with built in microphones so that direction from banksmen can be clearly understood. Front and rear beacons with rear work lights are standard fit ensuring a safe working environment even in the lowest of light conditions.
5mm thick drums and manual chute winders ensuring reliability whilst in operation and the semi capped blades produce a rapid discharge even on a semi dry load.
The Hino 700 series of mixer is again of the highest quality and reliability and due to their lightweight chassis is able to carry a full 8.0cbm load.
5mm thick drums and hydraulic chute winders ensure extra precision in the placement of concrete and anti-jam chutes are installed to improve safety when in operation. In addition to this a safety chain at the top of catwalk ensures driver safety when cleaning chutes etc.
The water tank has been upgraded from 180litres to 300litres which guarantees that the concrete arrives at the site within the acceptable tolerance level and chutes are kept to a satisfactory condition during transit. The Hino also comes complete with front and rear beacons and rear work lights which ensures a safe working environment even in lowest of light conditions and with rear colour cameras and built in microphones, directions from the sites banksmen can again be clearly understood.
These vehicles come with manual water pumps ensuring reliability throughout operation and the EURO4 specification which considerably lower the exhaust emissions, hence reducing our impact upon the environment.
Emergency stop buttons at the rear of the mixers are fitted as standard to ensure optimum safety when in operation and as you would expect all our drivers are fully trained and certified by ‘EPIC’ Training and Consulting Services Ltd.
