General Civils and Groundworks Dunne Building and Civil Engineering Ltd (DBCE) have successfully completed contracts in most sectors including health care, education, residential developments and industrial developments, and have secured a substantial repeat client base.
Our clients find that when they employ DBCE to carry out their civil engineering works, they also benefit from the groups other divisions. This may be simply assisting our clients by using our road sweepers to keep the roads clean, supplying and controlling waste skips to the site, utilising our in-house cctv squad to survey drains, or precasting elements in our precast yard. However, our clients also benefit from DBCE's ability to interface with the groups other divisions. This allows us to manage some of the more tricky interfaces encountered during typical construction, For example, by employing Dunne Concrete Flooring Ltd (DCF) either through DBCE or directly, the often problematic interface between groundwork's and flooring contractors is removed. With DBCE working with DCF, we are able to be more flexible with the programme ensuring the Client's needs are prioritised at all times.
Today many site we work on are 'brown field' sites, where we encounter the usual problems with ground contamination and existing infrastructure (old foundations etc). DBCE are able to call upon our experienced waste management team to advise our Clients and deal with the any problems encountered efficiently. Obstructions encountered are swiftly removed to our recycling plant for crushing and possible re-use as capping.
By working closely with our Plant Division, we are able to safeguard programme by directly controlling material deliveries and removal by utilising our own transport fleet. This is further augmented by the inclusion of 4 concrete delivery wagons to ensure concrete deliveries are as required in this increasingly competitive market. As we employ our own workforce directly, our highly skilled and motivated staff and workforce are able to quickly adapt to changing programme demands by increasing resources as and when required, ably assisted by our plant division.
