Continued investment in our transport fleet has seen Dunne Plant Hire Ltd take a leading position in the haulage and tipper market place. The recent acquisition of a further 10no 8x4 tippers, Volvo FM12 and Hino 700 series, positions Dunne Plant Hire Ltd towards the forefront of tipper operators and allows the transport division to trade medium to large scale much shifting operations and allows the Dunne Group to benefit from the ease of control when delivery of loose materials is required at short notice or in times of increased haulage demand in the quarry industries.
The tipper fleet is supplemented by articulated Bulk Tippers which enjoy a much improved payload in comparison to 6 or 8 wheel tippers, allowing large quantities of materials to be hauled in less time and road hours and so cutting our carbon footprint.
From our bases in Bathgate, Glasgow and Leeds we operate a fleet of tractor units c/w flat trailers, step frame semi low loaders and heavy haulage low loaders which allow us to transport materials and equipment throughout the UK with the aid of our GPS Fleet Management System which allows the routing of the vehicle closest to a job and eliminates crossing over of journeys, again an environmentally friendly solution.
From our depots in Bathgate and Glasgow we can offer a skip service and recycling facility which allows for the re-using of previously discarded building materials.
