Paradise Street, Liverpool

DBCE have recently commenced works on the sub and superstructure of a nine million pound 8 storey mixed use development providing a combination of retail space and public car parking. The unique structure will incorporate traditional, post-tensioning and pre-cast methods of construction.

The retail space for the development is limited to levels 2 and 3 with public car parking provided at Levels 4 to 8. The structure has been re-designed as a fully insitu post-tensioned concrete frame.

At levels 2 and 3 in the retail areas the form of construction is flat slabs with beam and slab construction adopted for the upper car parking areas. Throughout all levels the columns and upstands are to be constructed using pre-cast moulds, with the walls being formed using the Peri Trio system.

The end result will be a high specification development in the heart of Liverpool City Centre that both DBCE and the Client can be proud of.
