Multi Storey Car Park, Pollok, Glasgow

Dunne Building and Civil Engineering have enjoyed working back to back with Bovis Lend Lease at the new Silverburn Retail Centre development in Glasgow, appointed by the client Retail Property Holdings.

As Main Contractor on the MSCP Project, we have once more proved that our vast experience in the design and build of car parks was clearly evident and the four storey construction comprised of Piling Works, Reinforced Concrete Frame with External Radius Ramps and associated Major Envelope Construction including Cladding and Structural Steelworks Packages. The overall design included the enhancement of quality lighting and painted soffits as a complete Turnkey Project.

The design of the four storey car park is a customised solution to meet customer, business and operational needs with a capacity of nearly 2,000 spaces. This project will form a major part of the redevelopment and regeneration of the Greater Pollok Initiative.

 

 

Shopping Mall, Pollok, Glasgow

Dunne Building & Civil Engineering have also carried out the Concrete Substructure and Superstructure Works within the Main Mall, our second award at the Pollok Town Centre Development.

The Shopping Mall has also been delivered on time and on budget, where Dunne Building and Civil Engineering were appointed concrete frame contractors by Bovis Lend Lease.

The erection of the steelwork, installation of post tensioned and traditional concrete slabs have been completed, defining the overall structure for the Debenhams and Marks and Spencers Department Stores. The works package also included drainage, pile caps and concrete topping to metal decking.
